Today, we are excited to announce the new hacin.com!

We've worked super hard these past few months to bring you an entirely new experience and we're thrilled to finally show it off. We have tons of new features, including new spreads of our best work in architecture + interiors, innovative workspaces, urban mixed-use, beautiful retail spaces and some of our most forward-thinking collaborations in urban design.

We also have a whole new section profiling our talented team of architects and interior designers (don't forget Oscar!) and our new project pages now showcase hundreds of new images by our amazingly talented photography collaborators.

We're also pleased to announce the new home of the H+A Newsblog. You can now find all the great new stories, press, interviews and features on the new site at hacin.com/blog.

We're pretty excited here at H+A. For the last few months we've been working on an all-new website and we're getting close. We're introducing some new features including a more extensive portfolio section, some great new photography and, of course, an updated News Blog where you can continue to keep up with our work and inspiration. All of this will now be available wherever you are, even on your phone or tablet!

Mission Hill Site to be Transformed

The Boston Redevelopment Authority has announced the approval of a mixed-use transit-oriented development project on the former site of the Boston Clutch Works in Mission Hill.

The 75,00 square foot project at 1480 Tremont Street will include 66 rental units and street level commercial space wrapped around a courtyard garden, providing valuable open space for residents.

INSPIRED: Sou Fujimoto's Serpentine Pavilion Transformed into a Lightning Storm

Sou Fujimoto's Serpentire Gallery Pavilion was given a striking intervention back in June. London-based United Visual Artists created an "electrical storm" inside the cloud-like temporary steel structure using dozens of LED strips attached with magnets. The art and design studio looked to "make the architecture 'breathe'". It certainly does and we're super inspired. Watch the video below or check out more of UVA's work for even more inspiration.

Mobile Mondays comes to District Hall

Mobile Mondays will play host to an early preview of District Hall tonight. Mobile Monday Boston is a worldwide community of developers, designers and visionaries influencing the business of mobile technology. You can register over at the Mobile Monday Boston website.

Mobile Monday Boston is not the only group who will have a stake in District Hall in the coming months. Boston Startup Institute will be holding an entrepreneurship program for high schoolers and LearnLaunchX will be holidng a series of events for the educational technology space. Stay tuned for announcements on those events and many more.
