Mission Hill Site to be Transformed

The Boston Redevelopment Authority has announced the approval of a mixed-use transit-oriented development project on the former site of the Boston Clutch Works in Mission Hill.

The 75,00 square foot project at 1480 Tremont Street will include 66 rental units and street level commercial space wrapped around a courtyard garden, providing valuable open space for residents.

INSPIRED: Sou Fujimoto's Serpentine Pavilion Transformed into a Lightning Storm Sou Fujimoto's Serpentire Gallery Pavilion was given a striking intervention back in June. London-based United Visual Artists created an "electrical storm" inside the cloud-like temporary steel structure using dozens of LED strips attached with magnets. The art and design studio looked to "make the architecture 'breathe'". It certainly does and we're super inspired. Watch the video below or check out more of UVA's work for even more inspiration.
